Ameen Mohammed's Review on AIT - Acharya Institute of Technology

Placement history is not much attractive, especially for those with the mechanical background because most of them coming are IT companies ( offering a salary Package of rupees 200000-600000 pa on average ), other companies coming for recruitment are very scarse.

Hostels of Acharya is one hell of a kind. It is the best part of this college.It is very much good in standards as compared to any other indian hostels.However the hostel fee is very high. Food inside the college is actually good .They had recently renovated the canteens and are running succesfully.The cost is average. Classroom qualities are only average i can say, most of them do not hav projectors making teachers go into the predative methods of chalk and duster. The overall infrastructure of the campus is good and attractive.

Eligibility is a just  12th-grade  pass. I had gotten in through the management quota by paying the admission fee. I highly recommend taking the CET or at least ComedK because these exams are easy and can save you a lot of money.(CET saves you a lot more) There are no specific cutoffs in this college.

The daily routine was actually boring and predictable as is any college in India.It is usually like school in the 1st year and gets better in the following years. Overall experience was good enough.

My course fee, as I was a management student, was 1.62000 PA. However, for CET students it's only rupees 55000 PA. Scholarships are available from the institution and from the govt too, provided you are eligible.

The cultural fest (Acharya Habba) is one of the largest in Bangalore. It is worth attending. Overall life was great provided you have great friends to accompany you.
