G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science (GNITS) records over 80-90% placements every year. Major recruiters have almost every year been Infosys and Accenture with a little assistance from Deloitte and TCS. Salaries range between Rs. 2.8L to Rs. 5L per year with Deloitte offering the latter. While ECE, CSE and IT graduates bag multiple job offers at times, EEE, ETM and ICE are not so fortunate and have to settle with one or sometimes even none.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
The entrance to the G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science (GNITS) campus leads to an endless road that takes you round the massive the premises. Infrastructure is impressive with equal preference to academics, sports and greenery. The library has abundant books and Wi-Fi is accessible from most parts of the campus.Hostels are not worth appreciation but things are manageable. Rooms are spacious; but sharing them with 3 other roommates cramps them up. Strict rules and no non-vegetarian food become an issue for some of the girls here. Charges for the hostel rooms are Rs. 70,000 for air-conditioned rooms and Rs. 40,000 for regular rooms.
Academics and Faculty
Professors are co-operative and teach really well. For the third and final years, senior and experienced lecturers handle most of the subjects. EEE is said to have the best faculty at G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science (GNITS) while others follow up close.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : This college is a dream come true for every engineering aspiring students out there, especially for girls. My EAMCET rank was 6558 and I got into EEE stream in this college. My parents were actually very scared that being a non-local I can't get into CS or IT in GNITS. But as they spoke to the college administration people they saw the previous placement results which were amazing. Almost all the EEE students got into software industries and the percentage of people placed was 98%. The typical cutoff for my course was 10,000 for a local student and 4000 for 7000 for a non-local student. There are no any special entrance exams that you need to take to join in this college. EAMCET rank is enough. You can also get in with a well numbered JEE MAIN rank.
