Placements and Internships
- Placements is a major plus point here in Techno India. TCS, IBM, Accenture, Infosys and lots of other IT Companies come to recruit. Few Core Companies also come but they take a handful of students.
- The highest is around 8 lacs pa, with the median salary around 3lacs p/a.Mostly 90% of the batch will get placed and it will be a smooth one.
- The alumni network is quite a good one. They are friendly, supportive, provide notes and extra classes if needed.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- The Techno India College Hostels are not available.But outside there are plenty of PGs and hostels( 3000 per month).
- They have a food canteen which is bit expensive but provides a good quality food.The dhabas outside are much better in taste and within budget.
- Libraries have a good stock of books and they issue extra books on demand, WIFI is available, the playground is there. you can chill out during break times
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Eligibility criteria at Techno India:
* WBJEE entrance exam(closing rank is 6000)
*class 10,12 --> - 60% cutoff is required.
- Through counseling you choose your stream with ECE leading, followed by Electrical, IT and then FT.
Academics and Faculty
- The daily routine Class timings at Techno India were from 10-5. There were weekly assignments, with 2 internal exams per semester.
- The quality and method of teaching are really good.
- The labs are equipped with the latest instrument and technology.
- In my 4 years, studying was a very smooth one.The teachers, Professor, HOD everyone help you out if you reach them.
- A motivating atmosphere which one needs to be successful.
Fees and Scholarships
- The Course fee- 3-4 lacs for a 4-year course at Techno India.
- Scholarship options are a very few here, Better not to expect.
- Loans can be availed from SBI and lots of other banks.
Clubs and Associations
- The cultural clubs and Tech clubs are there at Techno India. You can take part in the variety of activities and become their members. Edge(tech fest) has a variety of competitions.Students all over west Bengal come there to take part, Happens for around 1 week.
- The main festival is Anachronous( cultural fest) has some fashion shows, bands. You will really enjoy them all.
- You will really enjoy the college life here. No stress, no pressure and enjoy a lot here.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : One should have passed the intermediate examination to appear in WBJEE. I had given WBJEE through which I got admission in Techno India Saltlake. I scored 7000 ranks in the examination. Techno India is one of the best private colleges. They not only provide efficient facilities but also help in the overall development of the students. The placement is also pretty well. The faculties are very supportive and knowledgeable, they also motivate the students for placement. My experience till date is awesome in Techno India.
