I have done my Internship in HMIL, Chennai.
The companies like Adobe, amazon, d.e.shaw, microsoft, applied materials, bajaj etc visit Malviya National Institute of Technology for campus placement.
The alumni network is good.

We had 2 Mid-terms and 1 End term exam in each semester at Malviya National Institute of Technology.
College timing was 8 am-5 pm and classes were being held in this duration only based on your core and optional subjects.
I did my final year project on Retrofit design and analysis of leaf-spring suspension in tractor-trolley. In mechanical engineering, there are various core and optional subjects like in other NIT/IIT's.
But we have one special subject under the name of Product design and development which is present in only our college in whole India.
I am fortunate to be a part of it. I had done a project of Making smart trolley bag-able to climb on stairs which includes Mission statement, Market survey, Gathering customer needs, coming up with many ideas through brainstorming and concept selection and prioritizing resulting finally in a product.
In addition, we have sociology, economics as optional non-core electives in a curriculum.
Teachers are very talented, qualified and educated from prestigious institutes all around the world. They believe in modern practices of teaching which includes power point presentation, industry people experts lecture and visiting various esteemed industries like BHEL and Bosche.
Students are also being motivated to take part in department activities like Renovation of mechanical workshop and participate in Altair's India level design competition projects.
Some Professors are very supportive even outside classes also.

Clubs and Associations

We have 2 national college fest and one Advani Basket ball championship which is very popular at Malviya National Institute of Technology.
Lots of clubs are there.
Sports facilities are also very nice.
