- Candidate has to give an entarance exam which is the JCECE examfor admission in Birsa Institute of Technology.
- Cutoff depend year wise and is not generally fixed. Candidates who belong to general category must have their rank under 1300. Generally in the first counselling seats get upto rank 700 but on later counselling it goes till 1300 for general category. Counselling takes place in ranchi.
