Placements and Internships
Internship:
- Entire batch get placed for summer internship before September end. Main aim of internship is to develop new skills. So many start-ups also visit the campus.
Placement:
- Placement is very good. People have wrong perception that SITM is for telecom domain only which is not the case. All big 4s, major IT companies and telecom related companies regularly visit campus.
- Average package for work ex-students: Rs 8.43 LPA. Average package for freshers: Rs 7.29 LPA. Apart form this, out of 140 students around 100 students were placed on day zero in span of 7 hours.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Hostel facility is very good, its like a resort stay for two years.
- Infrastructure is amazing. SITM is located in Lavale campus which is among the best 20 campuses of India.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- To apply for any institute under Symbiosis International University, SNAP is must. SNAP is more of a speed based test. But last year (2015) paper was tough as time is very less. Overall, one can easily overcome if he/she has one section weak. After SNAP, you have to individually fill forms for colleges. So please check your level trough various platforms available online otherwise you will burn lots of cash. But, do apply to one or two level higher institutes than your actual level.
- So, once you clear the SNAP cutoff, GD & PI process will start
Fees and Scholarships
- Fees is Rs 11.3 lakhs for two years. College has good ROI as very less difference between highest package and average package. Apart from this, one has to calculate monthly expenses which depends person to person ranging from Rs 5k to Rs 15k.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get admission at Symbiosis Institute of Digital and Telecom Management, one needs to appear for SNAP examination and clear the cutoff of the respective college. The next process is the GE-PI-WAT process which is the last step of the admission process. The Symbiosis International University never discloses any cutoff, but a percentile of 80+ would be a decent cutoff to get a call from the institute.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : 1st SNAP is to be given 2nd based on your score the college will shortlist you, and there is a GEPIWAT process in which general English written ability, GD and interview are taken based on your score in GEPIWAT process, you will be finally shortlisted for college.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Graduate from any recognized University / Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes) was the eligibility. The cutoffs at my time were approximately 88 percentile in the SNAP exam.
