INTERNSHIP: I have not done any internship till now but i was offered an internship by amazon duration of which is 2 months.Stipend that is being offered is Rs 40000 per month excluding other benefits.

ROLES: SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER,DATA ANALYST,PRODUCT DESIGN ENGINEER to name a few.

Average salary in cse dept: Rs 12.5 lakhs for the academic year 2015-16

Highest salary in cse dept: Rs 45 lakhs for academic year 2015-16,91%of batch was placed in my depatment.

Alumni network: Our college has a good alumni network.There was an alumni committee which performs certain welfare schemes like distributing cycles to eligible students,donating money for the development of the college etc.

HOSTELS: In total there are 10 hostels,8 for boys and 2 for girls.Hostels are coparitively bad and facilities are also not good as they are very old.Only the hostel provided for 1st year students is good,as it is newly constructed.There is no fee seperately for hostel as it is included in semester fee.

PGs outsite campus: There is no provision for students to stay outside the campus with some exceptions.So i dont know much about the pgs and other available options.There are 3 canteens near the hostels which provide wide varieties of food round the clock to the students.

FOOD IN THE COLLEGE: Food provided in the hostel mess is the last and the worst thing ever that you couldask for in the institute.There will be no spices in curries,no taste at all.Never expect to get good food when you join in MNNIT.I dont know about other institutes,but food in this institute is something that gives you nightmares seriously.

Quality of classrooms and labs etc: Speaking frankly the facilities that are provided in the classrooms and labs are not upto the mark.But you have to be content with what you got.Some classes are equipped with ACs but some are not.In case of summer it feels so bad sitting in classes without air conditioner. 

LIBRARY AND OTHER FACILITIES: Institute has a pretty large and highly equipped library consisting of nearly 3 lakh books from all domains.Campus also boasts 24 hour internet facility to every room through lan connection.

DAILY ROUTINE:  Normal day in the life of an mnnitian starts at 8 in the morning(sometimes 9) and continues till 12noon.Most of the baches have a 2 hour break from 12pm to 2pm and after that classes continue till 5pm in the evening.(Don't worry there will not be any study hours like in private colleges).The only problem is that attendence have to be maintained atleast above 75%(though there will be some relaxations).Quality of food in college mess will be very poor and non-vegetarians has to suffer a lot as campus is purely veg.There will be an average of 28 to 32 classes per week.Lan service will be provided to all the students in the college to every room.Rooms are somewhat congested with the exception of 1st year rooms.The campus is strictly against ragging.

EXAMS: There will be 2 exams per semester.One is mid-semester which is of 20 marks and other is end-semester which is of 60 marks.Other 20 marks will be awarded by respective professors.Grading system is absolute.Assignments will be given by some lecturers mainly in labs.In some labs like system calls and networking there will be weekly assingments that has to be submitted.

Quality and method of teaching: Quality of teaching in computer science branch is not upto the mark.All the professors were somewhat old and seems to be uninterested in teaching.Teaching will be a huge disppointment.Medium of communication will be english but students from south india has to suffer when it comes to dealing with regular activities.Mostly the teaching is traditional and through powerpoint presentations.

Overall experience: Placements in the college is very good.We can get our doubts clarified from our seniors who are always helpful.Although the teaching is not good,there will be commities for every branch run by senoirs and they conduct classes to clarify doubts every week.It will be a great learning experience.

COURSE FEE: Rs 41,000 per semester i.e; Rs 82000 per year.

SCHOLARSHIP OPTIONS: scholarships will be given by their respective boards based on their marks in 12th boards.Other scholarships include cbse scholarship of Rs.35000/- per year for students who secured 2000 or less rank in jee-mains exam.Also top 10 students from each branch will be given a stipend of Rs 3000 per year by the institute itself.Other notable scholarships include reliance india scholarship,iet scholarship etc.On an averge 50% of students got scholarship of some kind or the other.

ABOUT LOANS: Loans are ofcourse needed for financially backward people who cannot afford to pay their fees.Yes loans are easily provided by many banks at reasonable interest rates.Banks like state bank of india,bank of baroda offer loans to students.

Student activity center: There are many committies like music committee,pixel committee,western dance committee,arts committee etc to enrich and enhance the art and talent among the students.
