Academics and Faculty

5

The interior design course at JIMS VK-II has well- balanced curriculum with both theory and practical work. We study design principals, space planning, material, and software along with projects and presentations. The faculty is supportive, knowledgeable and guides us through the process. Teaching methods are interactive and exams are conducted on time. Study material is provides but self research is also important for better understanding.
  • Class Size: 45

Fees and Scholarships

5

The fee structure for the Interior Design course in my college is moderate compared to other private college. Scholarships are limited but available for deserving students based on merit or financial need. Not many students get scholarships, so most rely on family support or education loans, which can be easily available from banks. The college provides some placement support, but students often need to build strong portfolios for better jo opportunities.
  • Total Tution Fees: ₹1,03,000

Clubs and Associations

5

College life in my college is quite enjoyable and balanced. There are different activities, event an exhibitions where students can showcase their creativity. The our department also organizes design related event like DESIGN SANTUSHTI every year in dilli hatt. Social life is good and you get interactive with students from different courses. Cultural event and fest activities happen occasionally.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For Interior Design at JIMS VK_II, you need 50% in boards and a passion for creativity. I applied online for 1070. The selection is based on the JET ( Jagannath Entrance Test ) exam and an interview. The focus here is heavily on your design sense. There are no strict ranks but early application is key as seats fill fast. A very smooth admission process and highly encouraging faculty.
