The selection is based on the JET ( Jagannath Entrance Test ) exam and an interview. The focus here is heavily on your design sense. There are no strict ranks but early application is key as seats fill fast. A very smooth admission process and highly encouraging faculty.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission process for interior design at my college is quite simple. You need to pass 12th from recognized board. There is no tough entrance exam, mostly admission based on merit. I filled the form online, and the fee was reasonable. Cut-off is not very high, so student can easily get admission. Eligibility required 50% in 12th and I appeared for the Design Aptitude Test follow by personal Interview. JIMS also accepts CET scores. The application fee was around 1070rs and the form was easy to fill Cut-offs were moderate and i didnt avail any reservation benefits.
