As an ID students of our college, placement opportunities are decent. College provides internship and placement support. the internship starts after 4th sem. and placement starts from 5th sem. Top role include Space planner, 3d Designer, Visual Designer , Vastu Consultant etc. Highest package starts from 5-6 lakhs p.a . and in internship we get good amount of stipend that 15-25k p.a.
Our college infrastructure is state-of-the-art with Wi-Fi, labs and modern classrooms. The library has relevant design resource. College provides PGs facilities with decent accommodations, shared rooms and satisfactory food. Alternatively PGs are available near the campus. The college providing the pg facilities in 15-16k per month. Overall. facilities support academic and personal needs.
I am student of interior design department of JIMS VK-II. Admission's straightforward. Eligible with 10+2 (50% marks. Had to give JET ( Jagannath Entrance Test), then there is personal interview session. Cut-off 60-7-% lie. Application fee is 1070rs. We can fill the form online from the website very easily. But there is no reservation benefits.
as a student of interior design in our college, I find the curriculum to be industry-relevant, covering design principals, CAD, #Ds Max , vaastu and practical applications. Faculty member's are knowledgeable, approachable and supportive , using interactive teaching methods including studio sessions. The faculty-to-student ratio is decent, allowing for individual attention. Exams are conducted on schedule and study material are provided.
Fee's 1.2lakhs p.a. roughly for interior design at JIMS VK-II. yes there is scholarship but based on 12th marks clearly. approx. 10-155 student get the scholarship. College helps us to provide the documents what ever we need for the loan process. All banks provide loan for our college. there is no issue for the loan process.
College life at JIMS VK-II. Student societies like Design harvest club and cultural groups organize the event. Sports event and cultural nite that is Zest and celebrity nite. As a interior design student we have design fest that is Design santushti. we exhibited our furniture in DILLI HATT for 2 days. Over all experience is enriching with opportunities for growth.
