Placements and Internships

3.5

There is good placement in the college, our college is very good in providing you a variety of job opportunities with a large number of level 5 companies visiting us. Some companies include  Google, TechMahindra, TCS, Capgemini, COGNIZANT, CSC.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

3.5

  • No hostel.
  • Infrastructure is very good.
  • There are 5 blocks for respective courses which are a way different and best of their kind and also we have an open air auditorium with a capacity of 1500 students that provides center stage for recreation and cultural programs.
  • The faculty is just upto the mark. They just train you what you needed. Every department has got enough number of faculty with PhD's.
  • Gender safety and anti ragging are major aspects that you find in GRIET which can be proved by showing you separate canteens for boys and girls and also the college timings vary for students of all the batches.

Academics and Faculty

Well, having heard too much about the placements of my college, I was happy getting into the college and with the kind of hype it gets through pulse I was excited..Really excited. Prepared myself for both academics and other activities equally, But all in vain. I found nothing good nor somebody supportive here. There are no people to guide you and if you are self sufficient and manage to get into something they won't support you. Being autonomous it has huge scope of changing and updating the syllabus which never happens. Nothing real time happens here. You won't be a engineer if you study here. You'll be like any other student doing a degree. It doesn't have clubs. No college elections . No allowance for internships. Separate canteens for girls and guys. You are not allowed to sit anywhere else during the class hours. You can NOT talk to your opposite genders. You might fall for the fancy number of placements they show, Which has a highest package of 4.2 Lakhs  P.A. and average package would be around 3L.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : EAMCET entrance examination has to be written to get a seat allotted in GRIET. The typical cutoff of my course ECE is to have a rank below 10000.
