Academics & Faculty : The students from the CS/IT departments are quite satisfied with the faculty at Northern India Engineering College (NIEC) and say that senior and experienced professors teach the core subjects whereas junior professors are allotted only the basic subjects. Students from other departments have a different opinion; they say that majority of their faculty comprise BTech passouts who aspire gain some teaching experience and pursue higher studies alongwith.
