Placements and Internships
- As bits has PS 1 and PS 2 programmes in 2nd and 4y year respectively you get a good interaction with the industry environment. All companies related to core,it,finance ,non tech visit our campus.
- Average package varies with branch and year to year generally it's around Rs 6.5 LPA.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There in total 14 hostels 2 for girls rest for boys with capacity of 200 people. Hostel fee is around Rs 12k per month. It's mandatory to stay in hostels, you can't live outside campus.
- Food in mess is pretty decent as comapered to other colleges.
- A meal costs approximately Rs 50.
- Infrastructure of classes is good fully AC and wifi. Library with tons of books which will be fruitful through your college life.
Academics and Faculty
- Daily routine is good, you learn new concepts, there are assignment on regular basis and you can apply for project under faculty.
Fees and Scholarships
- Per year it's around Rs 2 lakhs 60 thousand.
- Scholarships are available under two criteria merit cum need and merit,in first around 80% if those who apply get the scholarship (only those whose family income is less than Rs 6.5 lakhs Per Annum can apply, for merit you have to be under 10 rank in your whole batch.
- Scholarship can cover upto 80% of your tuition fee ie max scholarship can be Rs 80000.
- As fees is a bit high you can get a loan which is easily available in campus SBI branch.

The admission process is based on the score of BITSAT and you should have more than 75% in board exams. The cutoff of for my branch (electronics and instrumentation) was around 315 in Birla Institute of Technology and Science, [BITS ] South Goa campus.
