Placements and Internships

3

I was offered an internship at Adversify, a Delhi based company, under unpaid internships. Some significant companies which recruited were KPMG, Deloitte, Infosys etc. The average package offered is 4-5L p.a. The highest package offered was around 9L p.a The college has an excellent set of alumni, with Manoj Bajpayee being famous and reputed.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

4

The college has no particular hostels of its own. The entire area, i.e. Ashok vihar, is quite lavish, and the area is safe and friendly. Multiple PGs are available nearby and can be searched easily. The students can even look for flats and homestays on a rent basis. The college cafeteria is fantastic, though the items are limited, the food is excellent and all types of soft drinks and beverages available. Even healthy diet foods are available. The campus is massive, with superb facilities and technologies available. The computer labs the offices are perfectly maintained. The college has the record of the giant auditorium of the entire Delhi University. The ground is also lushly green.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

The admission process is completed under the Delhi University norms and the cut-off process. The cut off for my course, and my admission was 95.5% this year, and thus I got an admission according to boards marks. There are entrances conducted for some courses. The cut-offs were higher than usual this year and stood at an average of 93-94%.

Academics and Faculty

4

The morning batch attends from 8:30 am to around 1:30 pm and evening from 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Regular assignments and notes are provided by the professors and checked consistently. The faculty is fantastic, and the teachers explain with simplicity. The overall experience of college is superb.

Fees and Scholarships

4

Satyawati College, Delhi University, New Delhi Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 7550. Students get opportunities in all the sectors and have mentors provided to them from time to time to get them in a good direction. The Delhi university provides scholarship schemes, with 20-25% of students getting scholarships under various schemes. Loans are not needed with the fee structure being very minimal, but bank facilities are available quickly, even if needed.

Clubs and Associations

4.5

The societies of Satyawati college are active. There are multiple societies to choose from, like the placement cell, CDF, enactus, corporates, drama society, dance society etc., and the list goes on. Every year an annual fest is conducted, and societies also conduct several other fests from time to time. The college life is superb with a fantastic student atmosphere and exposure.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria till this year were merit-based admission. The admission procedure is straightforward. You will get updated when your admission is confirmed, and you'll have to submit the fees. This year's cutoff was higher than last year due to the excellent XII board results as we didn't have our board exams, and it was around 96% in the last cut off for the general category. For reserved categories, there were lower cutoffs and special drives as well.
