Placement is the most central thing in college. The training for placements started from the first semester itself. From coding to communication skills, all the training are taking place from the first year itself. As a result, 60% of the engineering students get placed from the in campus placement with a good package. While there is also complete support from the college for off-campus placements, resulting in more than 90% placement ratio and almost 80% in EN.
I proudly acclaim PSIT as a Fully AC campus. All the classrooms, labs, libraries are air-conditioned, which provide us comfort in learning. The infrastructure is designed in such a way that there is enough space for recreational activities and sports. It also provides a WiFi facility and smart boards, and they are very well used and maintained. The campus has 24*7 on-campus medical centres and an ambulance. All the living spaces are clean, and the food is also hygienic.
I took admission into this college in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. There are no percentage criteria for admission. First I went there for visit to the college. The faculty members guided us and showed us classrooms, labs, library etc. I liked the campus and it is very evergreen. The teachers told us about placements criteria, and the no of companies that come to this college. We had to submit our educational institution's, marks we scored, TC certificate etc. The teachers were also very helpful, they councils us regarding our filled form and guided us.
I chose this course because of my interest in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and the fact that the EN and EC departments have a good placement ratio.
I am delighted with the faculty members here. They are highly qualified, very helpful, and caring and put extra effort if you have any doubt, and some teachers provide the study materials. You can approach any teacher of the department if you face any kind of issue. Faculty members also motivate and encourage students to do research projects during their course time. The course is designed in a manner that students can also engage in extracurricular activities.
Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology, [PSIT] Kanpur Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 1.30 Lakh.
PSIT scholarship is provided based on several factors. It offers scholarships to meritorious students who fulfil the eligibility criteria.
There is a professional association in my college, IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), for electrical and electronic engineering. In this association, there are many societies such as SIGHT, PES, WIE, etc. Currently, I am the chairperson of PES (Power & Energy Society). With the help of this platform, we can publish research papers directly into the international market and chances to get a good reward for our excellence.
