Placements & Internships : The college has about 90% placement in engineering and almost 100% in CS and IT. The training for placements that include the technical and communication training start from the first semester itself. The packages range up to INR 10 LPA.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I got admission through UPSEE like most of the students. However, there is also admission through the management quota. I took admission to the Computer Science department. After the UPSEE results, we select the list of preferred colleges we are eligible for. The students ranked less than 10,000 in UPSEE are easily eligible for admission in CS and IT. Since I was also eligible for the computer science department, I took admission here.

Fees & Scholarships : Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology, [PSIT] Kanpur Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 1.60 Lakh per annum. Students having an annual income less than INR 2 Lakh from all the sources are eligible to apply for a scholarship from the state government. Nearly 70% of the applied students successfully get scholarships.

Academics & Faculty : The faculty is professional and qualified. All the core subject teachers have a PhD in their respective subjects. We are welcomed to ask doubts whenever free without any hesitation. The faculty also helps us deploy workshops and hackathons for the students and helps us in extra studies. The class timings are from 9 AM to 5 PM after which most of the students go for their sports or musical activities. We have 2 CTs (Class Tests) after month and a half gaps and four assignment tests every 2-3 weeks, along with the university exams at the end of each semester (approx 5 months).

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 3 boys hostels and 2 girls hostels. There is the facility for both AC as well as Non-AC hostels with fibre for the internet. The hostels cost about INR 95,000 to INR 1.1 Lak per annum, depending on the room you opt including the mess and laundry facility. The food in a mess is really good, and the laundry functions well enough. The campus has plenty of room for the environment and is filled with greenery. The classrooms are large and have plenty of extra space always along with an AC facility in every classroom. The library is wonderful, and you have access to all the books as a student. You get your course books issued for the whole semester and could issue other books anytime when required. Overall we have never experienced any shortage of books in the library. The college also has canteens and cafes on the campus.

Clubs & Associations : Three annual functions take place every year. The first is the freshers part, and the last is for the students placed and leaving the college. However, the most interesting one is the Ignitia that takes place every year, and all the students of the college are invited to attend it. Celebrities including Shirley Setia, Hardy Sandhu and many others are invited here. Many other events also take place organized by ISRO, Indian Air Force or Alumni visit. Many international clubs, including the IEEE, facilitate with the college. The college also has a strong sports team ranging from sports like Kho-Kho to football, cricket, etc., which compete in the AKTU nationals.
