- There are a lot of companies coming in Manipal offering internships and placements. The main company is Microsoft.Average salary including all branches is INR 4.15 lakhs per annum.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Hostel facilities are very good.Hostel fees depend on the type of room you take.The food in college is above average as they have to prepare meals for more than 1000 students a day. But it's bearable.The quality of classrooms,labs,libraries,dining halls is exquisite. You never seem to get enough of it. Wifi is average.
Academics and Faculty
- Class timings are very comfortable as have only 8 a.m-5 p.m classes on two days of a week and other days we have only 4-hour classes in the morning or in the afternoon.Teachers are very good.They teach you a particular topic until you learn it well and they are very co-operative.You can contact them when every you want between college timings.
Fees and Scholarships
- Course fee for the first year as of 2014 was INR 2,46,000.The fee for hostel depends on the type of room you take varying from INR 60,000 to INR 1,46,000.Scholarships are available only to the students who secured the first 1000.Loans are necessary but if you want,you can take one.SBI is in collaboration with MIT, so I would prefer SBI.
Clubs and Associations
- The main thing I love about MIT is the type of exposure it gives to the students which any other local college doesn't give, Clubs. MIT has a lot of technical as well as nontachnical clubs which helps students explore themselves to the fullest extent.College life is beautiful in here as the major sightseeing places are very close by. The main festivals on campus are Techtatva(Tech fest) and Revels(Cultural fest).
