Admission is through JEE, Manipal university online test, Sikkim Manipal university offline test. Great atmosphere, brilliant faculty members, best in class facilities.

Fantastic daily routine. Good and best ways of teaching methods. One of the best engineering colleges in northeast India.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The SMIT candidates' selection is based on SMIT entrance examination scores. Candidates can also get admissions based on their Manipal Entrance Test (MET) score or a valid JEE Main rank. However, the student must have passed class 12 or other equivalent examination with an aggregate of 60% or above, having PCM as compulsory subjects. I took the SMIT offline test back in 2018. The branches are thereby distributed based on their rank in any of the examination mentioned above.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I took admission in Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology through the SMIT offline test. The top 100 rankers of this test are only granted admission. According to our ranks, we get to choose our course. The lesser your rank is the more options you get to choose from. Other than this, one can get admission based on their JEE rank or their MUOET entrance exam rank.
