Placements & Internships : The college gives ample opportunities for placements and internships. Various MNC's visit our campus are Dell, Shell, Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, and Wipro. The average salary offered ranges from INR 3.5 LPA to INR 10 LPA.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria is 60% or above in 10th and 12th. A MU OET Exam/Sikkim Manipal offline exam is conducted for admission.

Fees & Scholarships : Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, [SMIT] East Sikkim Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 10 Lakh. Scholarships are available to students who score above 80% in 12th grade, and loans can be easily availed from banks.

Academics & Faculty : Classes timing are from 9 am to 5 pm, and SMIT is very rigorous with attendance and exams. Exams are conducted throughout the year consisting of quizzes, sessionals, assignments, and semester exam. The faculty is very qualified for their respective fields, with a minimum of an M.Tech or PHD. The teaching is absolutely fine, and it depends on students how much knowledge they can grasp from the teacher. Teachers also help students with internships and projects. Overall college life is brilliant. The infrastructure is solid with state of the art gym, swimming pool, a huge food court, basketball court, a theatre, a football ground, and all sorts of labs with new equipment and state of the art classrooms.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are four hostels, 2 for boys and 2 for girls with two students sharing rooms. There are many PGs available to rent if someone wants to stay outside. There is 24 hours WiFi, with a decent speed and there are two separate dining halls, 1 for boys and 1 for girls and the infrastructure is state of the art.

Clubs & Associations : There are student department chapters for all the college branches, and there is the club for every activity possible. Literary, Debate, Dance, Music, Sports clubs, and different clubs are available.The main event celebrated is Kaalrav every year. These are the most enjoyable days for any student there. College life is as good as it can get.
