1) I had interned in Ericsson India, had done my virtual internship in Brazil in association with our Exchange Program organisation- IAESTE, also physically interned in Egypt for a period of 1.5 months which was offered via AIESEC (Exchange Program), and currently, I've acquired a job in a prestigious company under a role of Senior Web Developer. There are many clubs for arts, sports, dance, music, and also for encouraging the technical ability of students.. Moreover we have a main festival called KAALRAV, TechAdrista and more. In general, it feels good to be at SMIT.
There are four hostels 2 for boys 2 for girls. But the hostels are larger and can accommodate many students. The lights and water supply is very good. Also, hot water is provided at winter for drinking and general purpose. We are required to pay Rs.3000 per month at hostel and Rs. 5000 for a room at PG.
Meal served is very good as it is cooked by the trained chef with the proper personal hygiene. The classrooms contain a projector for digital class if needed to be held with the proper general facilities. There is a gym hall, swimming pool, Football ground. Badminton court, Tennis court, Basketball court, Volleyball court, which helps the students develop their interest in sports and tournaments are conducted every year.
Its very busy schedule every class are held on time and routines are strictly followed. The HODs and Some respected teachers will visit the classes to ensure the teaching quality, which is very good for the students that the higher faculty members are also visiting the class. Also, the assignments, projects are given, which may be lone or group. In the end, i want to mention that it was a good experience in college with dynamic faculty members and good facilities provided.

But the scholarship programs are there for students. Our college accepts almost all the scholarship program by Central as well as by Sikkim Government itself. Nearly 40% of students get a scholarship for their education.
For me personally i have not done any internship program yet but yes there are many companies that bring placement opportunities for almost every sectors like IT,Finance,Marketing and more. Average salary paid is about 5 lakhs per year and Highest salary paid is about 8 lakhs per year . There are many alumni in different sectors who are helping us to evolve in every possible way.
The eligibility criteria was that I should score at-least 60% at Class 12. I need to submit my class 10 and 12 mark-sheet and Transfer certificate. The entrance examinations conducted were of MCQs type. Also, the cutoffs was above 60%.
First I contacted the admission department, then they called me regarding admission & I asked them about my course. Then they can provide me with proper feedback about my course. Then I go there, for admission & after giving some necessary steps ( physical test, IQ test ), they allowed take admission there. Then we have to give an admission test to SMIT.
