SOF NSO Registration Form 2024: Olympiad Application Last Date, Individual Registration

The NSO authorities are expected to conduct the Olympiad on Oct 17, Nov 21, and Dec 5, 2023. The students can apply for NSO Registration 2024 in two ways: through schools and as individual participants. The NSO Olympiad is held for students from classes 1 to 12 annually by the Science Olympiad Foundation. Note that there are no fee exceptions for students with major physical disabilities while applying for NSO Registration 2024.

NSO Registration 2024 Highlights

Once the students have applied for NSO Registration 2024, they must check the official website regularly for important updates like exam dates and SOF NSO 2023 results. Those who have minimum cut-off marks or above will only be eligible for the 2nd round of the NSO exam. The authorities have released the important National Science Olympiad 2023 registration dates and exam dates on the official website.

NSO Registration 2024 Details

The NSO 2023 registration concludes one month before the scheduled exam dates. Further, candidates can apply for Science Olympiad exams in two ways: through schools or as individual participants under their parents' guidance. The students must check their eligibility criteria before filling out the NSO application form.

Some of the instructions for NSO Registration 2024 are given below:

• The students need to keep their documents ready while filling out the SOF NSO application form 2023.
• There must be at least 10 students from the registered schools. 
• Those applying for school NSO Registration 2024 must know that the school itself monitors and executes the exam.
• Those who have submitted incomplete applications or in case a student is found to be ineligible at any stage, SOF authorities will cancel their application right away.
• Before submitting the SOF application form, candidates ought to verify the information before submission, no changes within the form will be amused.
• Note that the NSO Registration 2024 fee is non-refundable.

NSO Registration 2024: School

The SOF authorities will send a prospectus containing the NSO Registration 2024 forms to all the schools registered with the Science Olympiad Foundation. Note that the schools that have not registered can request a prospectus by sending an email to the officials. 

Students should follow the below steps to apply for the National Science Olympiad Exam conducted by the SOF.

• The student must fill out the NSO Exam Registration form clearly, and students must provide the information that is asked in the NSO Registration Form.
• There are two sets of NSO Application Forms released by the SOF, the student NSO Registration 2024 form and the school SOF NSO Registration form.
• The school coordinators will generate the student's roll numbers as per the guidelines set by the organizing authority.
• The school coordinators are responsible for sending a copy of roll numbers to the Science Olympiad Foundation along with the student's registration sheet(SRS) and School registration form(SRF) on or before the deadline.
• Once the NSO Registration 2024 is completed, the question papers and guidelines for conducting the examination will be dispatched to the respective schools.

Note: There are no criteria for schools to participate in NSO 2023 exams, apart from the requirement of at least ten students to participate from each school.

NSO Registration 2024: Individual 

SOF allows individual NSO Registration 2024 for students not associated with any registered school. The students willing to appear in the SOF NSO Olympiad Exam must register for exams individually even if their school cannot participate in the NSO Registration Process.

Those applying for individual NSO Registration 2024 can attempt the exams at the residence of students. Further, students can apply for individual NSO Registration 2024 under their parent's guidance. All participants need to ensure that the information filled in is accurate and complete.

Students must follow the procedure below to apply for NSO Registration 2024 individually.

• First, visit the official website of the Science Olympiad Foundation.
• Once on the home page, students can view the "Online Registration for Schools and Students".
• After that, select "read more" to view the registration page.
• Then, candidates can view school registration, student registration, and registration forms for schools under the registration page.
• Now, tap on "Registration by Students", to be directed to the individual registration form.
• Finally, enter school details and student details in the individual registration form.
• Last, save and download the NSO Registration 2024 form and take a printout for future reference. 

NSO Registration 2024 Fees

Students who have applied for NSO Registration 2024 from schools in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan should pay the NSO Application Fee of INR 125 (including 18% GST). There may be a few exceptions for students whose parents were martyred during defence operations or students with any major physical disability. Moreover, the schools can charge an additional INR 25 towards the honorarium of the charge, remuneration to teachers to teach and guide, and other expenses.

NSO Registration 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The National Science Olympiad is popular and found useful by many educational organizations as it focuses on Science. NSO is a better platform for all the students who are interested in learning new terms and innovations in science and technology.

Students must refer to the eligibility criteria given below before applying for NSO Registration 2024.

• The applicants must be in a school registered with NSO. 
• The student must be studying under a recognized education board in India such as SSC, ICSE, CBSE, or any other.
• A student can attend only one NSO every academic year.
• Participants enrolled in classes 1-12 can register themselves for the exam.

NSO Registration 2024: Details Mentioned

NSO Registration 2024 is held under two levels where the students who successfully clear the NSO Level 1 will be eligible to participate in the NSO Level 2 exam. In addition, the students of classes 1 to 12 are eligible to apply for NSO Registration Details, and there are no minimum marks required.

NSO Registration 2024 Admit Card 

NSO released the SOF admit card on the official website at least 20 to 25 days before the exam date after the completion of the NSO Registration Process. The NSO hall ticket 2023 is mandatory, without this, no candidate will be permitted to enter. The admit card will only be released for those who have successfully applied for NSO Registration 2024.

The SOF Olympiad Exams for second-level will be held at over 600 NSO exam centres across 30 countries. The NSO 2023 admit card contains details such as the exam timing, exam pattern, and syllabus for SOF NSO 2nd level exam.

NSO Registration 2024: Roll Numbers

Students who have applied for NSO Registration 2024 will be provided exam roll numbers through schools or as individual participants within a week of form submission.

Those who have applied for NSO Registration 2024 for school will be sent to the mail ID registered by the respective schools along with the exam's guidelines. Whereas for NSO Individual Registration, roll numbers will be sent to the mail IDs of the individual participants.
