UPCET Application Form 2024: Fees, Documents Required

UPCET application form 2024 will be announced on the official website i.e, upcet.nta.nic.in by the NTA authorities. UPCET application process is expected to commence on Jun 2024- Third Week. Students will be required to upload documents like passport size photographs, 10 and 12th marksheets, government-issued id etc. during application form fillup. 

The application process will be online and students will require their roll number & date of birth as login credentials. Students will be required to register first before filling up the application form. Further, candidates will be required to pay an application fee of INR 1300 within the deadlines.

In addition, female and reserved category applicants will be required to pay INR 650 application fees. The authorities will not accept incomplete applications or applications after a specific deadline. The UPCET application form correction window will be opened after the deadlines for a specific timeline decided by the NTA authorities.

UPCET Application Form 2023 Dates

UPCET application form will be released on the official website by the NTA authorities. Students can go through the table below for tentative application form dates.

How to fill the UPCET 2023 Application Form?

The candidates can only access the UPCET forms in online mode. The form-filling process is broadly divided into five steps. The details can be found below:

Registration

The candidates can follow the below-given steps to register for UPCET 2023:

• Step 1: Go to the official website i.e, upcet.nta.nic.in.
• Step 2: Choose the degree (UG/PG) for which the candidate wants to apply. 
• Step 3: Students must go through the instructions and proceed further.
• Step 4: The candidates will now be redirected to a form and enter the required details
• Step 5: The candidates will now receive a text message which would inform them of their application number.
• Step 6: The candidates must make a note of their password, application number, and all the other details.

Filling the UPCET form 2023

After a successful registration, the candidates shall log into the applicants’ portal on the official website and find the online form for UPCET. The form will contain various fields, in which the candidates will be required to provide their bona fide details. The candidates must ensure that all the fields marked with an asterisk (*) are filled correctly. Some of the particulars are mentioned below:

Uploading Documents

After paying the UPCET form fees, the candidates will be able to view a confirmation page. The candidates must download this page in PDF format and take a printout of it for further reference. 

UPCET Application Form 2024: Required Documents

The candidates will be required to attach a certain set of documents and keep some in handy while filling the application form. Here is a list of documents that have to be uploaded, or referred to, in order to apply for UPCET successfully:

• A scanned copy of the candidate’s passport-sized photograph
• A scanned copy of the candidate’s signatures
• Disability certificate (if applicable)
• Scorecards of classes 10 & 12
• Category certificate (if applicable)

UPCET 2023 Application Form Correction

After the conclusion of the UPCET application process, the conducting authorities open a form correction window. This is the last chance for candidates to make changes to some of the fields. 

The details which cannot be changed:

• Candidate’s name
• Date of birth
• Gender
• Contact information
• Residential address

Steps To Retrive Application Form Login Credentials

The candidates should try to make a note of all the significant details such as the UPCET application number and password at the time of registration itself. However, even if they lose it, the conducting authorities will give a provision for retrieving the lost particulars. The steps to do so can be found below:

Retrieving UPCET 2023 Application Number 

• Step 1: Go to the login portal created on the official website i.e, upcet.nta.nic.in.
• Step 2: Click on the “forgot application number” link.
• Step 3: Provide the candidate’s name, parents’ name, date of birth, and the captcha code displayed. 
• Step 4: Submit the details by clicking on the “get application number” tab.
• Step 5: The candidates will receive the application number on their registered email id. They must make a note of it and preserve it for further use.

Retrieving UPCET 2023 Password

• Step 1: Go to the login portal on the official website of UPECT i.e, upcet.nta.nic.in.
• Step 2: Click on the “forgot password” link.
• Step 3: Answer the security question.
• Step 4: The candidates will now receive a password reset link on their email ID or registered mobile number.
