UPCET Counselling Seat Allotments

Shortly after submitting their choices, the conducting authorities will announce UPCET 2023 seat allotment, keeping in mind the scores obtained by the candidates, the choices made by them, and the seat allotment.

UPCET Counselling 2023 Procedure

After the announcement of the result, the candidates will have to register for counselling. UPCET counselling dates were announced by the NTA authorities on the official website at upcet.nta.nic.in. The detailed procedure followed for it has been discussed below.

Students will be able to choose and lock their choice. UPCET counselling will be held offline.

Registration for UPCET Counselling 2023

The candidates will be required to register for the counselling online, on the official website of UPCET. By following the steps mentioned below, the candidates can complete the registration process conveniently:

• Go to the official website of UPCET exam.
• Find the link for UPCET 2023 counselling, and click on it.
• Locate the new candidate registration option on the landing page.
• Click on it to proceed further.
• The candidates will now be able to see a form with several fields to be filled in by the candidate.

• Details to be entered: Candidate’s name, parent’s name, date of birth, UPCET application number, UPCET roll number, email ID, contact number, mailing address, and security pin.

• The candidates will be required to choose a security question and answer. This step is taken to secure their accounts in case they forget their login details later.
• The candidates must review their details one last time and hit the final submit button once through.

• Re-login: The candidates must login to their user accounts using their credentials to sign the consent form. They will have to enter their exam roll number, password, and the captcha code given on the screen.

• Click on the I agree checkbox.
• Enter accurate details in all the fields created. Some of them are gender, domicile, category, and subcategory.

Uploading the documents

The candidates will now have to attach thpies of their educational, category, and PwD certificates as per the relevance. The size of the documents being attached should be between 50 KB and 300 KB. The list of all the documents is provided below:

Note: Candidates who attempted their qualifying examination from a state other than UP can attach the domicile certificate of their parents.

Choice Filling & Locking

The candidates must log into the user portal given on the official website to make and lock their choices.

• They will be sent an OTP at their registered mobile number, using which they will be able to access the portal.
• The candidates must arrange their choices in the order of preference.
• After reviewing all the particulars carefully, they may lock and submit their choices.
• It is advised that candidates print the list out to avoid confusion at a later stage.

The candidates will be given the option to freeze, float, or withdraw their seats post this announcement. 

Reporting at the allotted college

The candidates will be given a specific date on which they'll have to report to the UPCET college allotted to them for document verification and fee payment. Students must reach their reported college on time.

UPCET Counselling 2023: Spot Round

UPCET 2023 spot round is only held if any of the seats are left vacant after the completion of the scheduled rounds of UPCET counselling 2023. In this round, the applicants can report to the college where they would like to take admission, with all the required documents and a demand draft.

Who can appear for the spot rounds of UPCET Counselling 2023?

If the candidates satisfy any of the conditions discussed below, they may appear for the spot rounds of UPCET counselling.

• The candidate wasn’t allotted any seats in the previously held UPCET counselling sessions.
• The candidates who did not confirm admission in the previously held counselling rounds.
• The candidates who secured a good rank but failed to participate in the counselling process due to any unavoidable situation.

UPCET Counselling 2024 Important Dates

The schedule for UPCET 2024 counselling has not been released by the NTA authorities on the official webpage. UPCET counselling will consist of seven counselling rounds and will be held after the declaration of the results of UPCET. The selected students will have to register for UPCET counselling on the official website login portal with their login IDs.

Further, they will have to upload documents like 10th and 12th mark sheets, UPCET admit card, results, domcile and character certificates etc on the candidate login portal.
