TSPSC Eligibility Criteria 2025: Age Limit, Educational Qualification

TSPSC Eligibility Criteria 2025 set by the conducting authority, Telangana State Public Service Commission, tspsc.gov.in. Interested of you should go through the same before applying. Your forms will not be considered if you do not fulfil these criteria. All of you must secure minimum TSPSC 2025 Eligibility standards before applying for the TSPSC Exam 2025.

TSPSC 2025 Educational Qualification

You should have the qualifications mentioned from a recognized educational institution. The below table shows the TSPSC 2025 Eligibility based on education.

01, 08, 11 & 13	LD/Junior Steno	Must hold a Bachelors Degree of any University in India established or incorporated by OR under a Central Act, State Act OR Provisional Act OR an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission OR any  equivalent qualification. Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Type-Writing by the Higher Grade in the relevant language. Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Shorthand by the higher grade in the relevant language. If however persons who have passed the examination in Typewriting OR Shorthand by the higher grade is not available those who have passed the examination by the lower grade may be appointed. NOTE: In the case of Telugu Typist the pass in the Typewriting the examination shall be on the Typewriter with Government Standard Key Board.
02, 05, 09 & 12	Typist	Must hold a Bachelors Degree of any University in India established OR incorporated by OR under a Central Act, State Act OR Provisional Act OR an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission OR any equivalent qualification. Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting by the Higher Grade in Telugu on Government Standard Key Board. Provided that if persons with the qualification prescribed in item (2.) above are not available candidates who have passed the above examination in Typewriting by Lower Grade if otherwise qualified is appointed. Provided further that candidates who possess Typewriting qualification in English by Lower Grade besides the qualifications mentioned in items (2.) and (3.) above shall be given preference for appointment by direct recruitment. NOTE: If a sufficient number of candidates with Telugu Typewriting qualification is not available for the appointment as Typists candidates with English Type writing qualification may be appointed subject to the a condition that he/she should acquire Telugu Typewriting the qualification within the period of probation on pain of postponement of increment without cumulative effect. In the case of Telugu Typist the pass in the Typewriting examination shall be on the Typewriter with Government Standard Key Board.
03, 04, 06, 07, 10, 14, 15 & 16	Junior Assistant	Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree of any University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, State Act or Provincial Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or any equivalent qualification.

TSPSC Group 1 Eligibility Criteria

There is a certain minimum eligibility that you need to be aware of before applying for the TSPSC Group 1 2025 examination. The details of eligibility are displayed in the table below.

TSPSC Group 2 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for TSPSC Group 2 post is as follows:

TSPSC Group 3 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for TSPSC Group 3 Exam is as follows. The TSPSC Group 3 educational qualification 2025 for the posts offered varies based on the services and departments. The ones applying for the posts offered must have the following TSPSC Group 3 educational qualifications.

• You must have completed your intermediate/degree education in the relevant Service Rules for each department.
• The ones who completed their education through Distance Learning must have certificates from boards/universities recognised by UGC/AICTE/Distance Education Bureau.

TSPSC Group 3 Age Limit 2025

You must be within the TSPSC Group 3 age limit set by the commission to be eligible for recruitment. 

• The minimum age limit for recruitment is 18 years. You must be born before Jul 1, 2004.
• The upper age limit for recruitment is 44 years, i.e., you must not be born before Jul 2, 1978.

The ones belonging to certain categories will be provided with age relaxation for the TSPSC Group 3 2025 exam.

TSPSC Group 4 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the TSPSC Group 4 Exam is as follows:

Educational Qualification

A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is mandatory.

Nationality

A TSPSC Group 4 aspirant must be an Indian citizen first and have a domicile in Telangana State to be able to apply.

Specific Skill-Set

For Junior Stenographers, you must have passed the GTE (Government Technical Examination) in HIGHER GRADE Typewriting or Shorthand for Telugu, Urdu or English. The same goes for the ones applying to the position of Typist.

Number of attempts

You are allowed a total of 5 attempts in this TSPSC Group 4 2025 exam.

TSPSC Group IV Age Limit

Given below are the details for TSPSC 2025 Eligibility for Group IV Exam. You should be between 18 and 44 as of July 1, 2022, to apply for the posts such as Junior Assistant, Junior Steno, and Typist. You should not be born after July 7, 2002. The ones with a date of birth before July 2, 1976, will not be eligible. The upper age limit is relaxable in the following cases:
