HSSC Recruitment 2024 is decided by the Haryana State Selection Commission. The latest HSSC 2024 Vacancy Notification has been announced for the Group C and Constable posts for 447 and 66 seats, respectively, in different departments. The application process will be active from Apr 1 to May 1, 2024.
Additionally, the commission announced the HSSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024 recently for a total of 6000 seats. There are 5000 seats for Male candidates and 1000 seats for Female candidates. The HSSC GD application Date 2024 was extended further to Mar 28, 2024.

HSSC 2024 Selection Process

HSSC Constable Selection Process
The selection of the applicants for the HSSC Constable Recruitment 2024 shall be done through the following steps. Applicants must make sure to qualify for all the rounds to get selected for the vacancy.

HSSC Selection Process for JE, Gram Sachiv, and Others
For the posts of Junior Engineer, Gram Sachiv, and Canal Patwari, there will be a Written Test, in which the candidates have to score above the minimum cut-off decided by the Haryana Staff Service Commission (HSSC). The written test will contribute to 90 marks out of 100. The remaining 10 marks will be given based on the Socio-Economic Criteria and Experience of the candidate.
The Socio-Economic Criteria include the following.
- 5 marks will be awarded to the candidate if any of the candidate's relatives (which includes father, mother, spouse, brother, or son) is/was not a part of any organization under the State or the Central Government.
- 5 marks will be awarded if the candidate is a widow/the applicant's father died before attaining the age of 42 years/the applicant's father died before the applicant attained the age of 15 years.
- 5 marks will be awarded if the candidate belongs to any of the denotified or nomadic tribes which do not come under either Backward or Scheduled classes.
The candidate will be given 0.5 marks for each year of their Experience in the same or a higher post in any other Govt. Department. The maximum mark that can be given for experience is 8.
Finally, a merit list will be made and candidates whose names are in the merit list will be given the call letter for joining.

HSSC 2024 Selection Process for SI and Constable Posts
The process of HSSC 2024 recruitment for the post of Police Constable/Sub-Inspector entails the following stages:
1. HSSC 2024 Knowledge Test: This is a written test in which the candidate has to clear a minimum cut off decided by the Commission. It constitutes 80% of the total score.
2. HSSC 2024 Physical Screening Test: In this, the candidates have to run a certain distance at a predefined time.
3. HSSC 2024 Physical Measurement Test: This test is also qualifying in nature, in which the candidate must have height and chest measurements equal to or more than the specified standards.
4. HSSC 2024 Additional Qualification: 10 marks are dependent upon the Additional qualification that the candidate has over the normally prescribed qualification for the posts.
- For the post of Constable, a candidate who has completed graduation will be given 4 marks, and the candidate who has completed post-graduation will be given an additional 3 marks.
- For the post of Sub Inspector, a candidate who has completed graduation in Law, Forensic Medicine, Forensic Science, or Computer Engineering/Science will be given 3 marks, and the candidate who has completed post-graduation will be awarded an additional 3 marks.

Candidates can fill out the HSSC application form 2024 from the official website at hssc.gov.in. The application form for all the posts under the HSSC Recruitment 2024 can be filled out by following the steps below.
- Step 1: Candidates must visit the official website of HSSC to fill out the application form.
- Step 2: On the official website, candidates must click on the "HSSC recruitment 2024" to get to the access link for all the posts under the same.
- Step 3: The candidates will be redirected to a new tab having all the HSSC recruitment exams such as Group D, Group C, TGT, etc.
- Step 4: After clicking the link, the official dashboard will open to fill out the HSSC recruitment form.
- Step 5: Candidates must click on the registration option to fill out the HSSC application form.
