HSSC 2019 Exam Eligibility Criteria

  • This is the following eligibility criteria which a candidate has to go fulfil in order to apply for HSSC Exam 2019:

 Fire Station Officer

(A). Bachelor of Engineering (Fire) from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA

Or

Graduate in Science with chemistry as one of the subjects with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA; and Diploma in Fire Station officer's and Inspector's Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur

Or

Graduateship examination of the Institute of Fire Engineers

Or

Membership examination of the Institutions of Fire Engineers of United Kingdom.

(B). Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric standard or higher education.

(C). Minimum Height - 5’7", Weight - 54 kg, Chest-32, Eyesight - 6/6 (without glasses), 6/6 eyesight with or without glasses at age 45.

(D). Should not be colour blind.

(E). Should have a qualified department at least as prescribed in Appendix E.

(F). Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving License.

Sub-Fire Officer

(A). Bachelor of Engineering (Fire) from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA

Or

Graduate in Science with chemistry as one subject at Graduation Level with minimum 55% marks or Equivalent CGPA; and Diploma in Fire Station officer's and Inspector's Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur

Or

Graduateship examination of the Institute of Fire Engineers

Or

Membership examination of the institutions of Fire Engineers of United Kingdom.

(B). Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric standard or higher education.

Tabla Player

 (A). Diploma in Tabla from a recognized institution.

(B). Knowledge of Hindi up to Middle standard.

Junior Lecture Assistant

(A). Metric with science with 5 years experience in a college.

(B). In case of appointment of Junior Lecture Assistant in Music BA from -

  • Sangeet Pryag Samiti, Allahabad

  • The Bhat KhadeUniversity of Music, Lucknow or Madhay Sangeet, Vidyalaya, Gwalior

  • Gandharv maha Vidhyalaya Mandal Bombay

  • Punjab or Kurukshetra university or any other university to which the government college in Haryana is affiliated

(C). Knowledge of tuning.

(D). Hindi/ Sanskrit up to Matric standard or higher education.

Laboratory Attendant

(A). Matric with Physics, Chemistry, Aetiology Sr or General Science.

(B). Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric Standard or Higher education.

Fire operator cum Driver

(A). 10+2

(B). Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving License.

(C). Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric Standard or Higher education.

(D). Minimum Height- 5’7", Weight-54 kg, Chest-32, Eyesight-6/6 (without glasses), 6/6 eyesight with or without glasses at age 45.

(E). Should not be colour blind.

(F). Passed basic course in firefighting from any institute recognised by Government of India.


HSSC 2019 Exam Eligibility - Based on Age Limit

  • Candidates applying for any of the above-mentioned posts should fall within the age group of 17-42 years.

  • Age relaxation: The age relaxation eligibility criteria for various categories are as follows:
