About HSSC: HSSC (Haryana Staff Selection Commission) was constituted as per Article 309 of the Constitution of India on 28th January 1970 by the Haryana Govt.
The Commission conducts HSSC 2019 Recruitment Exam for the appointment to Group ‘C’ services. It may also conduct the exam for appointment to Group ‘B’ and ‘D’ services if required by the State Government.
Examination Level: The HSSC Recruitment exam is conducted on a State level.

Pay scale: The pay scale is Rs. 3,06,000 p.a (varies per post and service).
Notifications: HSSC 2019 notification had been released on 19th December 2017. A second notification for the post of fire operator cum driver was released on 28th March 2018.

Application form: The application for these 5 posts (Fire station officer, Sub fire officer, Tabla player, Junior Lecture Assistant, Laboratory Attendant) of HSSC 2019 was released on 1st January 2019. The HSSC 2019 application for the post Fire operator-cum-driver was released on 6th April 2018.
Date of Examination: The examination of HSSC 2019 will be conducted on 13th November 2019 for the first five posts.

Vacancies: The Total number of vacancies is expected to be 282 (posts 1-5) + 1646 (for post 6) with a total of 1928 vacancies in 2019.

Educational Qualification: The candidate must have completed Graduation in any discipline and scored a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized Board or University.
Age Limit: The candidates must be aged between 17-42 years (varies per post). There is also a relaxation in aggregate marks and age provided to the candidates who belong to reserved categories and those who are Physically Handicapped.

HSSC Exam comprises of an MCQ based test and the syllabus includes:
Subjects: The MCQ paper will be comprised of General Knowledge, Computer Application, Concerned Discipline, General Reasoning, Mathematics and General English.

Structure: The HSSC 2019 recruitment process will take place in 2 stages - Phase I and Phase II. Phase I will be an offline test with a 100 objective type questions for a duration of 2 hours. Phase II will be document verification.
Post-exam After qualifying Phase I, you need to go through Phase II which is a certificate verification.

Mode: Candidate needs to visit the official HSSC website for filling the online application form. The application form window for the first 5 Posts was 1st January 2019 to 22nd January 2019. The application window for Post 6 is from 6th April 2018 to 6th May 2018.

1. We must at least have to get 45% in goa board HSSC exam to be eligible for BE course 2. I took GCET exam 3. Cutoffs for my course was 70 Physics-maths total in GCET.
Admission to my college was purely on merit list. Merit list was made on the joint score of JEE and HSSC board marks. Eligibility criteria to apply for my college was 75% and above in PCM of PCCS. Typical cutoff of my cource is under merit list no 500.
