BPSC Head Master Last Date Extended 2024
The commission released the vacancy notice for a total of 40,247 seats for the Headmaster and Headteacher posts. The last date to apply for the same has been extended further now. The application process commenced on Mar 11, 2024. Earlier, the last date to apply was Apr 2, 2024. Now, the candidates can fill out the application forms till Apr 10, 2024. Applicants must not be more than 58 years of age to apply.

BPSC TRE 3.0 Exam Cancelled
The BPSC Teacher Exam for the 3.0 phase was scheduled for March 15-16, 2024. However, the Mar 16, 2024 exam was postponed due to 'unavoidable circumstances', earlier. The Mar 15, 2024 exam, which was conducted on the said date has also been cancelled due to paper leak reports. The commission has informed us to re-conduct the exam. The re-examination dates shall be out soon.

BPSC 2024 Exam Pattern
BPSC conducting body has announced changes to the question pattern and marking scheme for BPSC 2024 Combined Competitive Preliminary and Mains exam (68th CCE Prelims and Mains exam).
According to the revised exam pattern, the Main exam optional paper will now carry only 100 marks instead of 300 Marks. Furthermore, the optional paper will be MCQ-based questions.
The prelims exam will have negative markings for all 150 questions. Candidates will get 1 mark for every correct answer, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

BPSC 2024 Counselling
The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the schedule for the Teacher Recruitment Exam counselling. BPSC counselling 2024 started on Oct 18, 2024, for secondary (class 9-10). Based on the classes it was continued further till Oct 24, 2024.
Candidates who qualified in the school teacher results must attend the BPSC TRE counselling 2024 to be considered for recruitment.
