BPSC syllabus 2024 is set by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) for the Prelims and Mains exams. The BPSC syllabus is divided between Prelims and Mains subjects. The BPSC prelims syllabus includes the topics related to GS paper 1 of the exam. In comparison, the BPSC mains syllabus includes the topics covered under GS papers 1 and 2, General Hindi, and the Optional paper.

In addition to understanding the syllabus, applicants must understand the latest changes in the BPSC exam pattern 2024. Candidates can download the BPSC syllabus PDF from the official website at bpsc.bih.nic.in in Hindi. The 69th BPSC 2024 notification will be published on the official website. Candidates can visit the official website of BPSC to download the BPSC Syllabus 2024 in PDF format. Applicants can download the BPSC syllabus PDF in Hindi from the official website. The BPSC syllabus in English is not available.

The PDF file will include the BPSC Prelims syllabus. In addition, candidates will also find the BPSC Mains syllabus. The Mains section includes all the topics for optional subjects (such as the BPSC geography optional syllabus). BPSC Prelims Syllabus 2024

Candidates must understand the BPSC Syllabus 2024 for the Prelims paper before the exam. Applicants must note that the Prelims paper is compulsory and common for all candidates. There are no BPSC optional subjects to choose from in the Prelims paper.

There is only one paper under the BPSC Pre syllabus. Candidates can take a look at the topics covered under the BPSC PT syllabus.

BPSC Mains Syllabus 2024

Candidates qualified for the BPSC Prelims will appear for the Mains stage. The BPSC Mains syllabus includes topics for four (now five) papers. The paper-wise BPSC Syllabus 2024 for Mains is discussed below for the candidates.

Candidates will appear for the General Hindi paper, which is common for all candidates. The General Hindi paper is qualifying in nature, and applicants need to score at least 30% of the BPSC total marks for this paper which is 100.
