DNB Eligibility Criteria
DNB eligibility requirements for admission may depend on the college curriculum and other academic discretions by the institution providing the particular course. The following are the general DNB eligibility criterias.
- Aspiring Candidates are required to have an MBBS degree with a minimum overall score of 50% from a recognized university/college.
- The applicants are required to complete a one-year internship program before enrolling for the particular course.
- The candidates are needed to pass the DNB exam which includes Common Eligibility Test (CET).
- DNB eligibility requires Candidates to clear the entrance exam conducted by the National Board of Education (NBE).
Who Should Pursue a DNB Course?
Medical professionals who have completed an MD/MS can apply for DNB admission. The students who want to enroll in the DNB course right after earning their MBBS degree must complete three years of residency training in their chosen specialty and pass the DNB final theory and practical exams to earn the DNB postgraduate degree.
Candidates who hold a Provisional Registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India/State Medical Council or expected to finish their one year of Internship before the application deadline are also eligible to apply for the CET, subject to submitting a certificate from the Head of the Hospital/Institution indicating that they are likely to finish their one year of Internship on or before the examinations.

How To Get Admission for DNB?
