Bagbazar Women’s College caters to the needs of financially weak students. The motto of the college is to serve students from the lower-middle class stratum of society. Student’s Aid Fund and Scholarship

• The institution has a regular student help fund, managed by the principal, where students can get up to 100% aid based on their merit and financial circumstances.
• The college also successfully implements the WB Government's Kanyashree scheme.
• Prof. Arun Kumar Mukherjee and some retiring teachers fund Women’s College Calcutta scholarships.
• Based on the Principal's suggestion, student aid is also sponsored by Usha-Ajay Foundation India.
• Under any of the schemes mentioned above, 100% of the applicants receive financial assistance.
