Placements & Internships : In viscom, we are offered to do 2 internships in the whole period of three years. My first internship was at Rajasthan Patrika-National Hindi daily newspaper as an editor. And I am currently pursuing my second internship at Prism PR. Both internships were for a period of one month each. Key companies that recruit students from our campus are Amazon, Ramco, Wipro, ITC, etc. The roles offered are of marketing, guest relation executive, communications and so on. Salaries offered are minimum 2,30,000 per annum. 50-60% of a batch gets placed. Alumni network of WCC is quite strong. We prefer calling Alumnus as judges for most of the cultural events. Alumni are also called for college play, international conferences etc that happens on yearly basis.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for my course, Viscom was a good percentage. The college did not have any entrance examination. The cut-offs were around 80% as viscom centers around creativity and not marks.

Fees & Scholarships : A course fee is around Rs45,000(INR) per year. Scholarships are offered to those who are in need.

Academics & Faculty : Viscom works for evening shift i.e, from 12.30 AM-5.30 PM. We have 4 internal assessments and 2 semesters per year. 20 marks in each subject are allocated for projects and assignments which are quite interactive and relevant to the subject. There is the good method of teaching using projectors, computers, and ppts. WCC has great opportunities for budding girls and gives a good exposure.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Around 10 hostels with a minimal fee. Hostels are clean and spacious. There is one main canteen, one stationary shop, xerox shop, ATM, beverages shop and nutrition cafe inside the campus. Around 60rs a meal. Very well built infrastructure with a huge campus surrounded by greenery, flora, and fauna all around. Free wifi available. The huge library is also there.

Clubs & Associations : There are many clubs and association on campus like young indians, rotract club, eco club, dance, drama, music, literary, arts club. Main festival on campus are festeve, sports day, college play, white gifts day, christmas, department culturals, teachers day, etc. College life is not like spoon feeding. Sudden transformation in ones life. College life involves responsibility, exposure and fun as well. Live your best and create memories coz its just for max 3-4 years.
