Following are the BA LLB eligibility criteria:

• The candidate must have passed the 10+2 or an equivalent examination.
• In the case of the general category, a minimum of 45 per cent of the marks should be obtained, and in the case of the SC/ST, a minimum of 40 per cent and 42 per cent for the OBC category should be obtained in the qualifying examination.
• Admission is based on merit, which is determined by the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
• Before accepting qualified students, the university conducts interviews with all applicants.
• Out of the total intake, 40% of the seats are reserved for students from Uttarakhand under the state quota, while the other seats are accessible to students from all around India.

Merit-based scholarship

• 30% for applicants who acquired more than 90.1% in the qualifying examination.
