Vesry less time is given to fests and celebrations in Life science with very few departments having there own fest. There'll be no separate culturals celebrated.
Classrooms are very poorly maintained with broken benches and broken lockers. The library is well facilitated with a good number of important books and journals. the college also has a wi-fi which was newly introduced. There's a cafeteria place on the top floor which is newly built and is also well maintained.
Only importance that is given by the college is only to academics and academics wise college can be rated as average with few inexperienced faculty in a few departments. Few lecturers are highly qualified.

It's a good college. the professors are good experienced and the admission process is easy and also students with good percentage are easily admitted into the college. the cutoffs are 60 and above.

Classes are very well managed. They generally start at 9:30 in the morning and end at around 4. Every semester, each subject can have 1-2 assignments but not more than that. And most subject teachers make students perform seminars for internal marks. Internal exams are also carried out at least twice a semester. Some teachers are quite good at teaching while others aren't. Most teachers make sure that the students are doing good in everything regarding the subjects. Sometimes teachers might be a little strict but it is sometimes necessary. Helps students be on track.
I am paying INR 40000 every year which is quite cheap for colleges nowadays. Scholarships are not available directly from college but one can always apply for scholarships offered by different companies and funds.
Placements are quite rare for the science departments since most students go for Masters. One can try into different companies like Biocon with good scores.
It is quite easy to get into the college. I went for admissions after my results for 12th boards were out. They only asked me at the beginning about how much I scored. I scored 80% so it wasn't a problem for me, but I have also seen students get into the college with percentage in the 50s. One has to pay in the college or send a DD for admission procedure. Quite easy to be honest.
The college has a Students Council which works well. It also has a sports club and an NSS club. The college keeps organising fests at proper intervals . Life in the college is little boring when it comes to fun.
The college offers accommodation with separate buildings for boys and girls with a common mess but different timings which ensures proper safety and discipline. The food provided in the hostel is manageable whereas the college premises have a cafeteria with reasonable rates for the food. The infrastructure of the college is good enough with well maintained labs and library.
The classes generally start at 9.30 in the morning which is the best time to start a good day at college. The faculty make it really easy to cover the syllabus . Regular internal assessments, seminars and assignments make the course interesting. The teachers use chalk and board as well as PowerPoint presentations to explain the hardest of topics in an easy way. The academic part of the college is very good.
As compared to other colleges this college is value for money as it's fee structure is quite low and the faculty and facilities are very good. Course fee for B.Sc degree is about INR 25,000 per annum. The college offers a scholarship for the students with consistently outstanding performance in academics. The college offers campus placements on collaboration with very reputed companies like Wipro, Biocon, Microland , Ranbaxy , Infosys etc. But the problem lies in the placement of students from life sciences in IT companies which is of no beneficial cause. The college organises workshops and guest lectures. The Alumni network is quite good.
