Library

The Library of Tagore Institute of Engineering and Technology has set its vision to satisfy the user community the Central Library is situated in the ground floor of the Main Block. with a floor area of about 4000 s.q. mts. The 3 main sections of the Library.

• The stock room with reference section.
• The reading hall with periodicals section.
• The circulation / reprography / administration section.

The unique feature of our library is the compulsory library hour, which is included in the student�s timetable (one hour per week for each class). It gives the students ample time to use the Library facility.

Hostel

Separate hostel facilities are available for both Boys and Girls.Built-in-campus hostels are having great attraction to boys and girls for its high class comfort and most suited and required healthy atmosphere. Day to day affairs of hostels are managed by respective Wardens. There is also a Hostel Committee to help taking policy decisions.

The hostels are provided with all necessary amenities and facilities including:

• Highly furnished dining hall which yields energetic food.
• Good refreshment with indoor and outdoor games and TV halls.
• Telephone Facility.
• Very High Quality Food is served.
• Modern Kitchen facilities are available.

Laboratories

Well equipped physics lab, chemistry lab and fully centralized computer labs with latest instruments and machines we are poised to teach more practical knowledge to our students.

"Practice Makes Everyone perfect" 

The college has merged with the information super highway by providing Internet facilities round the clock. Students and faculties enjoy unlimited Internet access with 10 Mbps band width.

Language Lab

The lab has Hi Class Software (Installed in 2008) which offers a variety of functions such as Recording, High Speed Copying, Test Preparation, Student Monitoring, Teacher/Student Call, Group Conferencing, etc.

The main console is connected to 30 listening booths which have been specially designed for student-teacher interaction, and greater concentration for language learning. The lab also has a large number of cassettes and books for all levels: beginners, intermediate and advanced.

Variety of listening and speaking drills for Remedial English classes. Benefits students who are deficient in English and also aims at confidence-building for interviews and competitive examinations. The Language Laboratory sessions also include word games, quizzes, extemporary speaking, debates, skits etc.

Conference and Seminar Lab

Fully air conditioned conference rooms, Mini Conference hall. Each Department is provided with a seminar hall. All the halls are provided with the latest Multimedia Projectors, Slide Projectors and Over Head Projectors.

Transport

Transport facilities are provided to all the students who are coming from in and around the Places and more than 100 buses are catering the needs of the students. And they are operating to all the routes at the convenience of the students.
