Classes are conducted from 8.30 am to 2 pm. Internal exams and assessments test are held in the form of projects several times. Quality and method of teaching are good.


We have a number of clubs from music, dance to investment and entrepreneurship which all are active throughout the year on the campuses. Festival Equilibria is one of the main on the campuses. In general college life is good.

The annual academic fee is around INR 1.7 lakh. The scholarship is provided to 4 to 5 students from the entire batch on the basis of their grades.


There are 12 to 15 clubs in SSE and all of them are active and consist of great creative peeps. The main events at SSE are ethnic day and annual fest Equilibria.

The admission procedure for B.SC(Economics) is as follows :

You are advised to carefully read all instructions as given below:

  1. It is mandatory to appear for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) for admission to SSE.
  2. For details about SET, kindly visit
  3. The applicant will receive a prospectus from Symbiosis International University.
  4. The applicant is required to fill up an on-line application form and pay Rs.1000/- to become eligible for admission to SSE.
  5. The payment of Rs.1000/- can be made by any one of the two options-
    • Demand Draft – (Kindly mention your name and the SET ID number on the back of the Demand Draft)
    • Credit Card or Net Banking.

    The payment can be made in favor of ‘Director, Symbiosis School of Economics’ payable at Pune.

  6. Selection is done on the basis:
    • SET score
    • Based on the SET score, the institute will conduct a Personal Interaction (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT) for the shortlisted students. The short-listed candidates will get a call for the PI-WAT.




  • XII pass from any branch with minimum 50% marks for the general category and 45% for students of SC and ST category.
  • Qualifying the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) and Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test (PI-WAT) of the School.

The following are the reservation rules that shall be followed while admitting Indian students

  1. Scheduled Caste : 15%
  2. Scheduled Tribe: 7.5%
  3. Differently Abled : 3%
  4. Kashmiri Migrants: 2 over and above the programme intake.

Policy of admission against vacant seats under reserved category


In case some seats remain vacant due to the non-availability of suitable candidates in the category of reservations then the information about the vacant seats will be reported to Symbiosis International University. With the permission of the Vice Chancellor, the seats will be converted to the general category seats and shortlisted students will be offered these seats.
