SIIB Pune Infrastructure: Library, Auditorium, Cafeteria & Other Facilities

SIIB infrastructure provides students with a wide range of facilities and an optimistic environment for growth. The institute has an indoor swimming pool, a health and medical care facility, an auditorium, an international-standard academic block, and more. The SIIB campus is spread over 5 acres.

SIIB Pune, which is housed in Pune Infotech Park in Hinjawadi, is surrounded by some of the giant multinational corporations in India, including Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, TATA Technologies, and many more. Some of the highlighting features of the SIIB Pune infrastructure are mentioned below.

Hostel 

• The SIIB Pune hostel offers separate accommodation for boys and girls. The SIIB hostel facilitates all the basic amenities for students. 
• The accommodation arrangements are made to create a healthy and positive environment in the hostel.
• The SIIB hostel rooms have attached bathrooms with triple-occupancy rooms.
• Other services include laundry, twice-weekly room cleaning, and hot water supply round-the-clock.
• The students' everyday requirements are met in the hostel by a store, canteens, a coffee, juice bar,  and photocopy machines. 
• The SIIB Pune hostel includes lifts, power backup, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Campus

• The SIIB campus offers administrative and academic facilities. 
• It has conference rooms, discussion rooms, and an auditorium.
• The Symbiosis Institute of International Business also has classrooms designated for each program with audio-visual teaching equipment.

Library

• SIIB library has over 17000 books, 490 CDs & DVDs, and 150 periodicals on management-related subjects. 
• The library has become a one-stop solution for all reference materials and management books.
• It is a member of more than 100 renowned periodicals (Journals/magazines).
• All of the administrative tasks at the SIIB library are managed by KOHA Library software, which is utilised for all computerised processes. 
• SIIB library members can access over 40,000 E-Journals, 7 E-Databases, and more than 100,000 E-Books.
• SIIB Pune is a member of several illustrious organisations, including MCCIA, AIMS, IGCC, IACC, CII, and SHRM.

Computer Lab

• SIIB infrastructure features a fully functional computer lab for instruction and practice.
• Wi-Fi access is provided in the residential and academic buildings.

Mess

• SIIB facility includes a cafeteria with food and mess facilities. All students are dining members of the mess.
• The cafeteria provides a comfortable seating arrangement and a spacious ambience.
• It caters to the diverse taste buds on campus.

Health Care

• SIIB infrastructure features a swimming pool and health club with a gym, yoga, and aerobics classes.
• Additionally, a medical officer is also available on the SIIB campus.
• SIIB Pune has an internal healthcare facility run by the Symbiosis Centre for Health Care (SCHC), which is available only to Symbiosis staff and students.
• A team of specialised doctors from the SIHS performs the annual health check-up.
• Thus, to ensure the good health of all Symbiosis family members, the Symbiosis Institute of International Business Centre offers preventative, promotive, and curative healthcare services.

Classrooms

• SIIB facilities include classrooms that are the focal point of student learning and growth.

• The swimming pool's water quality is frequently checked to ensure the cleanliness.
