Fashion Designing is a three-year program in the Suryadatta Institute of Fashion Technology. Maker's Market Exhibition:

This exhibition was organized at the Tilak Smarak, Pune. Creative products made by the makers from the entire Pune was seen in the exhibition. Different stalls in the exhibition consisted of soaps, candles, jewellery, decorative items, etc. Simultaneous workshops on shibori dyeing and spray paint was also going on. An exhibition on Gujarati Textiles was also going on at the same premise.

Industrial Visit in Islampur:

The students along with the faculties went for an industrial visit on Islampur. They also visited Rajaram Bapu Soot Girni which is a cotton mill. The process of yarn spinning, weaving process, and yarn dyeing facilities was seen in the mill. 

Local Market Visit:

For B.Sc and CDFD students, the students visited a local market. The visit was organized to explore the local retail and wholesale markets. The students gained information and knowledge about recent trends, fashion accessories and apparel.

Theur Industry Visit:

This visit was in Shri Chintamani Skills Mills Pvt. Ltd. Various cotton silk fabrics were available in the mill. Wholesale market of Phursungi was also visited by the students after visiting the mill. The market survey conducted helped the students learn about fabric quality and the price difference between retails and wholesale.

National Handloom Visit:

National Handloom visit was conducted for the 1st and 2nd-year students of B.Sc. A variety of traditional textiles from north, south, east, and west were displayed in the exhibition.

Baramati Textile Park Visit:

This visit was for the 1st and 2nd-year students of B.Sc and CCFD at the Cotton King Pvt. Ltd., Prom girl, and Purple creations at Baramati Textile Park. The students of the institute were surprised after seeing the fast and time-consuming types of machinery that are used in the industries.
