• Library:

SVIET’s Central Library, established in 2008, is a leading resource hub for engineering and technology, spanning over 450 sq. meters. It houses a collection of 22,252 books, 2,972 titles, 43 rare books, 38 journals, 12 magazines, 579 project reports, 1,317 CD-ROMs and DVD-ROMs, along with a SC & ST Book Bank containing 1,379 books. The library’s operations are fully computerized using the ecap software package, and each department also maintains its own library. In addition, the college library holds over 6,000 volumes of books and subscribes to a variety of journals. Students have access to NPTEL resources, including 4,726 videos, 201 DOAJ journals, and 292 eBooks, among other educational materials.

• Student Database Management: Collects and maintains the student database for Training & Placement (T&P) activities. Conducts training needs analysis and provides essential skills development, including both soft skills and technical skills.
• Industry Interaction: Facilitates interactions with industry professionals to bridge the gap between academia and industry, keeping students updated on the latest trends in technology and tools.
• Campus Placements: Manages the placement database, identifies placement opportunities, invites corporate companies for recruitment, and organizes campus drives for student placements.
• Soft Skills Training: Works with the Training Head to identify soft skills and communication training requirements for students and coordinates necessary training sessions.
• Career Guidance: Provides career guidance, motivational talks, and training to help students explore new opportunities and connect with alumni and entrepreneurs.

Scholarships

Awards a scholarship of approximately INR 35,000 to students who attain state merit ranks in the 10+2 examination administered by the A.P. State Board of Intermediate Education.
