Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is INR 40000 per year for a student through counselling. Generally the college trust provides scholarships for the students who are economically weak. The college account is in the South Indian Bank, which provides loans to needy students.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Clearing the Government Public examinations for 10th and 12th grades is the basic criteria. After which one has to follow the process of counselling held by Annna University. I gave two entrance tests. One is the JEE MAIN for admission into the IITs, the other one is an entrance test for Karunya University. Scoring a cutoff mark of 190 and above will fetch a seat in SREC for BE (EEE).

Placements & Internships : Major service based companies like Infosys, Wipro and CTS visit our campus. Also, major product based companies like ZOHO, BOSCH, SOLITON hire students with good technical knowledge every year. The average salary package is around INR 4 lakhs, however, the highest package bagged by a student last year is INR 16 lakhs from AMAZON. The batch placement is normally high for old branches: EEE, Mechanical, ECE. The Alumni play a great part in building the technical know-how of the students. Every month renowned alumni from the industry conduct workshops at the campus. Some prominent alumni hire students for internships during the Final year.  

Academics & Faculty : The daily classes begin very early at about 8.45 am. The students are encouraged to work as a team in projects. The projects are generally left to the choice of the students, however, the faculty oversees their progress and helps them attain their intended goal. Although most faculty members confine their teaching to the prescribed syllabus, the method used by some teachers keep the students engaged and helps in active learning. The college strives hard to bridge the gap between academia and the industry. Moreover, it is keen on finding talents and showcasing them.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The college has two hostel blocks which include an international hostel as well. The hostel fee along with food is very nominal and costs INR 70000. The college is present in the outskirts of the city and it is hard to find PGs nearby, opting for the hostel facility would be a smart choice. The quality of food is good and it is available for affordable rates, it is also prepared in a clean environment. The infrastructure of the college is simple but has all the mandatory facilities. The labs are well equipped and often improvised. The library serves as a source for rich knowledge and the dining halls and toilets are well maintained.

Clubs & Associations : There are clubs which help students build their management skills. The FAC club is a favourite club to all the students and serves as a platform to manifest their talents like arts, dance, music etc.  The most celebrated day is the college is Annual day. The function is enthralling and involves games and other fun activities. This college gives an opportunity to develop, improvise, learn and master new things that a student is passionate about.
