• Throughout the year, IEEE-­SJCE organizes a variety of activities to help students improve their abilities. Robotics, Vacation Project Mania (VPM), Soldering & Etching, LATEX, Blender, Networks, Snap Circuits, Web Design Mania, and other IEEE-SJCE courses are among the most popular events. 
• The IEEE-SJCE hosts two major technological events: Tuxedo and Cyberia.

Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore, has all the basic facilities, some of which are mentioned below.

• Library- Over 1,31,000 volumes of textbooks, reference books, directories, yearbooks, biographical sources, abstracts are housed at the library. The library has an incredible collection of theses, dissertations, encyclopedias, general literature, as well as Kannada and English novels. IAS corner has a collection of books and CD/DVDs to help students prepare for computation examinations such as IAS, IPS, GATE, TOFEL, GRE, and other national and international level exams.
• Laboratories- The laboratories are very well-equipped.
• Hostels- The college has two ladies hostels, one in the south end of campus having a capacity of 380 girls and the other in the north end of campus for roughly 200 students. The other is in Hootagalli (3 km from the college), where about 180 students are accommodated. The college also provides bus service to the students. Separate hostel facilities are available for about 570 boys. The hostels have a 24-hour RO system for drinking water, electricity with battery backup, hot water (geyser), a separate TV room, reading hall, Wi-Fi, and a two-wheeler parking space.
• Canteen- The canteen offers the students with tasty food without compromising the health of the students.
• Sports Facilities- SJCE has equipped the Sports and Physical Education Department with the appropriate infrastructure. The following facilities are available on the sprawling campus of 49461 square meters:
