Additional Details for South Asian University, [SAU] New Delhi:
- The candidates should have a 12 year of schooling+ 5 years integrated BA/ BBA/ B.Sc/ LLB or 12 years of schooling+2 or 3 years Bachelor Degree+ a 3 year LLB Degree or 12 years of schooling+a 4 year LLB degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognised institution from one of the SAARC countries
- The candidates will have to clear a 3-hour Entrance Exam for admissions
- The exam will follow a multiple choice pattern and will have negative marking as well
Scholarships at South Asian University, [SAU] New Delhi:
SAU offers scholarships under three category.
SAU President's Award:
- This scholarship is awarded to the students who top in the entrance exams of their respective countries
- The students should come under top 10 percentile of the combined merit list of the all their subjects
SAARC - India Silver Jubilee Scholarship:
- This scholarship is awarded to the students who belong to the least developed countries of SAARC
SAU Scholarship/ Financial Support:
- This scholarship is offered to the students on need cum merit basis
Miscellaneous:
- South Asian University offers scholarships and financial support
- The students are offered a maximum fee waiver of INR 22,000 on the tuition fee per semester and a living allowance of INR 7,000 per month
- The scholarship awardees also get to stay in the hostel free of cost
- A startup amount of INR 10,000 is offered to the scholarship awardees who belong to SAARC nations other than India
- For Indian nationals, the startup amount offered is half of what the other candidates are offered
