Silicon Institute of Technology started its second campus, Silicon West in Sambalpur which is spread across 37 acres of lush green land and is now a familiar name in technical eduacation in Western Odisha. The campus is vibrantly designed to help students innovate and at the same time bridge a gap between scholastic and cultural atttributes. The vision of the college is to become a center of excellence in the fields of technical education and research and their mission is to provide the right technical skills, professional ethics and human values to the students to build a better nation.

Silicon Institute of Technology Sambalpur Admission

SIT Sambalpur offers five undergraduate programs primarily in core branches of engineering. The admission at this institute is based on the marks secured by the candidates in their previous examinations. Admissions are done through the e-counselling process conducted by Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2022.

SIT Sambalpur B.Tech Eligibility

• All students who pass 10+2 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Computer Science/ IT/ Chemistry / Biochemistry/ Biology as one of the optional subjects from a recognized Indian Board can apply for admissions.
• Applying students must have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics along with their chosen optional subject.
• All students have to compulsorily participate in the OJEE 2021 counselling process conducted by the Government of Odisha.
• The selection will be based on the JEE Main 2021 Common Rank List (CRL) subject to candidates fulfilling above mentioned minimum eligibility criteria.
