Sikkim Manipal University Scholarship Details

Sikkim Manipal University offers scholarships based on their academic performance and financial circumstances. Candidates must meet the eligibility conditions to avail of the scholarships. More details regarding the Sikkim Manipal University scholarships are given below. 

• For B.Tech candidates with an average PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) percentage of 90 or higher, there is a 30% discount on the course offered.
• B.Tech candidates with an average PCM percentage of 85 to 90 will receive a 20% concession on their course price.
• B.Tech candidates with an average PCM percentage of 80 to 85 will receive a 10% concession on their course price.
• A 20% concession on course fees for B.Tech candidates of Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh is offered to the Sikkim Manipal University students (SAARC Countries excluding India).
• For entrance to a B.Tech course, immediate siblings of SMIT students receive a 10% concession on the course fee.
• Students sponsored by the government of Sikkim receive a 75 percent tuition cost reduction.
• The top two deserving (GATE score/entrance test given by the Institute) M.Tech students will receive a 50% scholarship in course fees.

Note: Only one form of scholarship is available. Scholarships are available for the duration of their studies, provided they meet the conditions of a CGPA of at least 6.5, no backlog, and no disciplinary case.

Institute Means Scholarship: The Sikkim Manipal University scholarship will be available to economically disadvantaged students depending on their guardians, subject to the institutional scholarship committee's approval and verification of required papers on a case-by-case basis.
