Placements & Internships : I haven't done any internship yet as the alumni network of SMU-DE is very poor in the matter of job placements.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) at Sikkim Manipal University, is intermediate in any stream but maths in intermediate could do a lot better. I didn't give any entrance examination to take admission in BCA. There were no cutoffs for BCA.

Fees & Scholarships : My course fees per annum at Sikkim Manipal University comes around Rs.27,000. There are some scholarships available which reduce the fees up to 80% occasionally. About 20% or fewer students avail the scholarships as per my information and loans are not provided by the banks for even financially weaker students.

Academics & Faculty : I was learning in the distance mode, so I learned my courses at my own pace and comfort. A project is given in the final semester and assignments are given in every semester which fills the internals carrying 30% weight of the total marks in every subject. Quality and method of teaching are average and the overall experience in SMU-DE is fine.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : I did my courses in the distance mode so I cannot tell you much about the hostels, PGs, food and infrastructure of SMU.

Clubs & Associations : As per my knowledge, the college atmosphere is very good and the life at Sikkim Manipal is fantastic.
