Infrastructure

A sprawling campus of about 33 acres has been meticulously planned in number of functional blocks separated by lush green grass lawns . The campus has been designed and developed with aesthetic sense in an eco friendly environment. It has come up as a self-contained academic complex with all the required facilities of infrastructure including L.C.D/O.H.P fitted lecture halls, Tutorial rooms , Drawing hall for Engineering students , separate offices for HOD’s and faculty members besides the magnificent Directors of our college. All the classrooms are spacious, airy, well-lit and properly ventilated with modern furniture for students to provide the students a study soothing atmosphere.. All the basic amenities like pure drinking water , medical aid , canteen , electricity , power back up(Power gen-sets) and communication facilities , gymnasium and sports grounds etc. have been provided.

Library

Vision

To become a premier Learning Resource Centre with a state-of-the-art library resources and services in the Information and Communication Technology and related areas. Library and Information centre, is one of the best engineering college libraries. The institute has a spacious central library. Separate Floor is accommodated for OPAC, periodicals, New Papers, thesis, reprography and Special reference.

Mission

The mission of the SSSISE Learning Resource Centre is to provide access to high quality information resources in all forms to the faculty, students and staff in support of teaching, learning and research mission of the Institute. With a commitment to excellence in services, the Resource Centre offers information resources and innovative services to support the intellectual inquiry, research and lifelong learning needs of SSSISE Reader Community.

Canteen

Some go to college for education, some go for the crowds, some go for the boost in their attendance count but EVERYONE goes to college for the canteen. Be it the regular chai or the occasional soft drink doze, canteen visit is a must for every college student. Every story and every conversation is incomplete if not told in the canteen along with a plate of samosa and a cup of chai. Canteen, if not the most important, but is an integral part of a person’s college life. It’s the relaxed and fun aura of the place that takes some stress off the students, which they experience during classes. In retrospect, a mention of ‘college life’ will always bring back memories from their past experiences in the college canteen.

Canteen is located on the campus with catering facility for breakfast, lunch and evening snacks, refreshments and Tea as per the preference of students and staff the during working hours. Canteen can accommodate many in number at a time. Canteen Equipped with modern kitchenware such as giant sized steam boilers installed to cook and supply large quantities of boiled rice. Hygienic food items in clean environment and Safe clean and pure Mineral water is also established.

Hostel

With a view to providing personal care to the students coming from various corners of the country, the COLLEGE has built hostels that provide the right academic ambience for students in search of excellence in their pursuits. SSSISE campus, a completely self-contained COLLEGE includes separate hostel & mess facilities for male and female students.

Our aim is to provide a home away from home environment for students with particular emphasis on nutritious meals, hygienic and pleasant living conditions. Apart from students, the college has full time hostel management staff. Most of the students live in the hostels of the institute.

The hostels provide a home away from their homes and helps in developing a healthy and cordial relationship among the residents. The management ensures hygienic and pleasant living condition with particular emphasis on nutritious meals. The college administration puts in all efforts to help the students feel at home in terms of comforts and concern of the hostel personnel.

Eco-friendly environment, encouraging academic ambience, uncompromising quality of hygiene, steam cooking, safe drinking water, round the clock security, availability of qualified doctors and resident wardens, indoor games facilities, uninterrupted power supply- all these ensure a very safe and secure stay for the student. Ragging is strictly prohibited on the campus.

Sports & Games

A sharp mind needs a healthy body to support it. At SSSS, we encourage our students to indulge in sports activities like Cricket, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Badminton etc. SSSSI also organizes sports events on regular basis. In order to develop lasting sports culture among the students, SSSS is coming up with indigenous sports complex of around 2.5 acres. This complex will house various indoor/outdoor games and a fully equipped gymnasium. The students of SSSS also participate in various inter-college, inter-university level sports meets. The Institute has excellent sports facilities comprising indoor & outdoor games such as badminton, cricket etc.

Transportation

Transport facility for the students is provided from all corners of the city. Driven by a team of trained drivers. Buses ply from all places catering to the students need for comfortable and hassle free transport.
