Rustamji Institute of Technology is the first engineering college in India established by a Para Military Force. RJIT established to allow the children of BSF/ CAPFs personnel as well as civilians to acquire quality technical education. This institute was inaugurated on 2nd October 1999 by Padma Vibhushan Shri K F Rustamji himself. Rustamji Institute of Technology UG admission is open for the 2020 academic year. B.Tech course is for a term of 4 years with a total intake of 420 seats in total. All the eligibilities and qualifications fixed by State governments are applicable. A merit list will be announced for eligible candidates. The shortlisted candidates will be called for Counselling.

To seek admissions at Rustamji Institute of Technology for B.Tech the candidate needs do have passed 10+2 in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, & English marks. Admission to First Year (B.S.F./ CAPFs Wards candidates) is done based on marks obtained in the JEE Main. Admission to Second Year Lateral Entry is done through Counselling conducted by DTE, Bhopal. In RJIT there is a 50% quota for BSF/ CPO and 50% for MP. The total fee will be around INR 35,000/- per semester for B.Tech. There is a separate concession in the fee of wards of BSF.
The college is offering 2 PG courses. The college offers MCA and M.Tech. The Institute is the only Engineering Institute in Northern India offering the Post Graduate Engineering Course in Automobile Engineering. For M.Tech course, the B.Tech course is required along with a valid GATE scorecard. The merit list is prepared based on the GATE score and remaining admissions are done based on the merit list followed by written test & Interview conducted at RJIT.

Admission to all the PG courses require the candidates to clear the respective entrance examinations. The total intake for M.Tech is 18 students for each specialization and MCA is 20 students. Selection will be done on Merit basis/ Entrance Exam performance. The counseling of selected candidates will be done at the university campus. For M.Tech seats are open and preference is given to GATE qualified candidates. The fees for M.Tech are INR 39,000 for the 1st semester and INR 27,800 for 2nd semester and The fee structure for MCA is INR 31,500 for the 1st semester and INR 23,100 for 2nd semester.

Rjit is the first paramilitary college of india.and fully covered with BSF and have a great discipline ..on talking about admission procedure seats are provided 50%to defenses or 50% to state govt..for state govt student need to score in jee main exams and for BSF wards, he has to score on jee mains and 45% min in 12 class. Cuttoff for mechanical branches -70 Automobile-60 Computer and Electrical-50.. And soo on for the electronics and IT branches
For admissions in B tech programme of candidates should have passed class 12th with 50% and have appeared JEE mains exam. Admissions are done on two bases one is for the person who is belonging from Madhya Pradesh in India and a person belonging to Central Armed Police Force (CAPF). There is 50% quotation for each.
Eligibility criteria: JEE Main exam is must and aggregate marks in PCM minimum - 60%. I took the JEE MAINS for this institution and the Cutoff based on the merit list.
