Hostel

• The university has six residential hostels for boys and seven for girls. 
• The Punjabi University hostel provides modern amenities and accommodation for 4000 students. 
• The college has two (one for boys and one for girls) hostels at Guru Kashi Campus, Talwandi Sabo, and two hostels (one for boys and one for girls) at Punjabi University Neighbourhood Campus, Rampura Phul. 
• All four hostels can accommodate 550 boys and 550 girls, respectively. 
• It provides Wi-Fi & CCTV camera facility.

Library

• The Punjabi University Patiala library has a strong collection of Punjab history, culture, Sikhism, Punjabi language, and literature. 
• It comprises more than 1.51 lakh documents and 130 important daily, weekly newspapers, and periodicals.
• It has over 76560 documents that have been collected from 68 eminent historians and litterateurs. 
• The library contains newspapers, magazines, books, diaries, and manuscripts pertaining to the 19th and 20th centuries. 
• The Punjabi University online library has around 215 e-books on computer science, engineering & business studies, and the full text of these e-books is available at the campus.

Medical Facilities

• The Punjabi University infrastructure has a health centre that remains open 24*7, even on all holidays and festivals.
• The Punjabi University provides free consultation and free medicines to the students.
• In addition, the college offers a free consultation to all the staff, faculty and employees of the college. Free medicines are given in case of emergencies also.
