I have given entrance exams like CAT And MAT Exams and also PGCET, there is no such cutoffs all are treated equally.
My class timings is 9 am to 4 pm. Projects, exams and assignments also same as schools. But it is interesting.

We have very few societies and clubs and we have fest and all at college but there is no proper communication between students and management, we don't get any information about the holiday and all It's pretty well to be there.
I have no idea of hostel details some say it's 1.05 lakh per year, Good but some take advantage and misuse them and College canteen is hygiene but not tasty.

I secured 74k ranking in KCET. Eligibility criteria was through the rankings only. After 2nd round in KCET, I agreed to join Presidency University and got admitted. Admission procedure - I submitted my all original documents except Aadhaar and pan card. And I paid through an education loan. I took KCET entrance exam. Typical cutoffs for our course is around 75k. I'm not sure exactly.
