PRIST University, Chennai Campus Admission 2024

PRIST University offers numerous undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Chennai ECR campus offers programs in multiple disciplines. PRIST University, Chennai also offers academic programs in collaboration with IBM-Innovative Centre for Education and optometry programs with Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital. As a part of the Optometry course, students have to undergo a mandatory internship with Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital.

The university offers a wide range of courses under its undergraduate program. Most of the courses are offered as full-time courses and also on a part-time basis. The college also provides Academic programmes in collaboration with IBM-ICE (Innovative Centre for Education) in the streams of Engineering & Technology, Arts & Science, and Management. In addition to this, the university offers a Collaborative Optometry Programme in association with Dr Agarwal’s Eye Hospital- the course is equivalent to a B.Sc in Optometry. PRIST University Chennai UG Admission- Eligibility, Fees and Admission Criteria

The eligibility criteria for undergraduate programs are as follows:

B.Tech	Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. Lateral Entry to the second year: Candidates must have passed the Diploma examination from an AICTE approved Institution, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology. O Candidates must have passed B.Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) and passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject to be eligible. Students belonging to a B.Sc Stream shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering program along with the second year subjects.
BA	Candidates are required to have passed in the Higher Secondary Examination or an Examination accepted as equivalent, preferably with a firm grounding in English.
B.Pharm	Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics with a minimum aggregate of 60 %.
B.Com.	Candidates are required to have passed in the Higher Secondary Examination or an Examination accepted as equivalent preferably with Accountancy, Commerce/business studies, Economics / Computer Science, Statistics / Business Mathematics.
B.Sc.	Candidates are required to have passed in the Higher Secondary Examination or an Examination accepted as equivalent
B.Optom.	Candidates are required to have passed in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and English with Biology / Mathematics from a recognized Board, with minimum 50 % aggregate marks.
BCA	Candidates are required to have passed in the Higher Secondary Examination or an Examination accepted as equivalent preferably with Maths / Business Maths.
BBA	Candidates are required to have passed in HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

The university offers a wide range of courses under its Postgraduate programme in various disciplines. The college also offers academic programmes in collaboration with IBM-ICE (Innovative Centre for Education) in the streams of Management as an MBA. In addition to this, the university provides a Collaborative Optometry Programme in association with Dr Agarwal’s Eye Hospital- the course is equivalent to an M.Sc in Optometry. PRIST University Chennai PG Admission- Eligibility, Fees and Admission Criteria

Admission criteria for courses varies with specialization and discipline. The eligibility criteria for postgraduate programs are as follows:

M.Tech	Candidates should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in the relevant field Obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination.
M.Sc	Candidates are required to have passed B.Sc. with the relevant subject as specialization, from a recognized university.
MCA/MCA Lateral Entry	A Pass in any recognized Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration (10+2+3/4 years pattern) in any discipline with core Mathematics or Business Mathematics at +2 level OR A pass in any recognized Bachelor's degree with 10+3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern with mathematics at Diploma level or Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level OR. A Pass in any recognized Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration (10+2+3 pattern) in any discipline with mathematics or Statistics as any one of the subjects. For Lateral Entry- A pass in Bachelors Degree of minimum three years duration in B.C.A., B.Sc., (Computer Science/ Information Technology) or equivalent with Mathematics as a course at the Higher secondary level or Graduate level.
MA	Candidates are required to have passed BA in English or any degree of relevance.
M.Com	Candidates are required to have passed B.Com. / B.A. Corporate Secretary ship / B.B.A. / B.A. Co-operation / B.Com. (Bank Management) or equivalent thereof.
MBA	Candidates are required to have passed in any recognised Bachelor’s Degree (in any Discipline) of minimum 3 years duration with at least 50% marks at the qualifying examination.
M.Optom	Candidates should have passed with Bachelors in Optometry (B.Optom / B.Sc. Optometry / BS Optom / B.Sc. (Hons.) Ophthalmic Techniques) (Full time) from a recognized university with minimum 50 % aggregate marks.
M.Phil	The candidate must have passed in relevant postgraduate degree with 55% of marks (10 + 2 + 3 +2 pattern) or M.Sc. with equivalent subjects.
