Dr DY Patil Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, Pune organises workshops/seminars for students on Personality Development, Soft Skills, Interview Techniques, Career Guidance etc. This helps to boost their confidence and self-esteem. Teaching staff delivered regularly as well as attends various seminars and symposia and refresher courses etc. sponsored by ISTE, AICTE, UGC, Controlled Release Society of India, and Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) and thus derives the wider exposure and expertise in the field of interest.
Students get a chance to come together at the events like Genesis, the welcome party for freshers, Antarang, the annual social meet and Sayonara, the farewell to the outgoing students. The institute promotes the student's participation in various intercollegiate debates and essay competitions and various student festivals.
Every year, the students celebrate Pharmacy week in the month of November and organise exhibitions, poster competitions, street plays and art gallery. This is a forum for students to showcase and display their talents and skills.
Entrance Exams & Admissions :
The Eligibility Criteria for admission to the first year of degree course in Pharmacy at Padmashree Dr DY Patil Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, Pune is that the Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std. XI) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with the subjects English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject.
The candidate should've secured a minimum of 45 % marks (minimum 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability (PwD) belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject added together (Maximum of marks obtained in Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject shall be considered for the purpose of addition).
Obtained a non-zero score in subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology added together at MT-CET 2015 rounding off the percentage of marks for deciding eligibility for admission. In the case of percentage, marks (converted out of 10) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subjects added together at HSC (Std.XI), comes as a fraction, then percentage of marks shall be rounded off for the purpose of deciding the eligibility of the candidate.

The Placement cell communicates and visits the industry to arrange campus interviews for UG and PG students.

For B.Pharm, in Open category, the Course fee is Rs. 93,620 and for SC/ST, the course fees is Rs. 10,000 at Padmashree Dr DY Patil Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, Pune.
Scholarships will be obtained on the basis of economic background given to DTE Maharashtra.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
